Jeffrey Markowitz
Jeffrey Markowitz is a partner and co-founder of Rutenberg Realty, one of New York City’s fastest growing independent residential real estate firms. Jeffrey’s objective is to provide support and know-how knowledge in growing the business and developing it to its full potential. He is focused on the operational and financial aspects of the business as well as continuing to bring innovative technologies to the firm.

After more than 25 years of a successful partnership with RFJM Partners LLC, he is putting his financial experience to work at Rutenberg. At RFJM Mr. Markowitz invested in public and private equity markets, bridge loans, PIPE’s and private investments, along with active and passive investments in real estate development projects in Austin, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, New York City and Puerto Rico. He has also acted as a consultant to a wide array of companies focusing heavily on management competency as opposed to being industry specific.

Prior to his work at RFJM, he was the Director of Operations for Delphi Film Associates, a join venture partner with Columbia Pictures, providing financing for the production of feature length films. He started his career as a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta.

Mr. Markowitz earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Emory University in 1979. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Facecake Marketing Technologies, the leader in visual demonstration and image animation technology. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester, and sits on the Board of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces.
